Discord Calls Disconnecting
Discord hasn’t addressed or identified the cause of this issue, and users have been experiencing this for a while now. No troubleshooting method has proven to be the solution for this issue. Our advice is to run through all of the troubleshooting steps below until you find one that works for you.
1. Change Server Region
Discord offers many server options all over the world. This is done to improve connection speed and performance by allowing users to choose a server that’s closer to where they live. Note: Changing servers while on a call will result in all members to be disconnected momentarily. They will reconnect automatically once the server connection is reestablished.
2. Enable Quality of Service High Packet Priority
This feature, when enabled, tells your router that audio packets being sent by Discord should be given priority over others. Doing so could fix the issue with Discord disconnecting and reconnecting.
3. Restart/Reinstall Discord on PC/Mobile
A bug or some random error could break functionality. Simply relaunching the app or rebooting the computer can help fix such anomalies. Don’t forget to save your work before you reboot the computer. 4. Try Discord on a Different Platform/Browser

5. Check Whether Discord Servers Are Down

6. Check Active Downloads
If your computer or device is actively downloading files or running a torrent, it could lead to call drops. Either pause the downloads or wait for them to finish before reconnecting the Discord call.
7. Restart Your Router
If there is an Internet or Wi-Fi connectivity issue on your end, restarting the router or home network could help. Depending on the make and model, your router may have a power switch, but if not, use the main power switch. 8. Flush DNS
Flushing DNS on Windows-powered computers can help fix common connection issues thrown by apps. It shouldn’t take more than a few moments. 9. Disable VPN
While using a VPN will help you protect data that can personally identify you on the Internet, it can also slow your Internet connection, especially if you’re using a slow or free VPN. Because voice and video calls require a high-speed, stable Internet connection, try disabling your VPN temporarily to see if that solves the issue.
10. Whitelist Discord in Firewall Settings

11. Update/Reinstall Network Drivers
