System Mechanic is a performance optimization suite that is created by iolo and incorporates multiple patented and patent-pending innovations designed to fix, speed up and maintain computers so they run like new. Some of the useful features that come with it include LiveBoost (boosts system responsiveness), Stability Guard (intercepts stability threats), NetBooster (speeds up Internet, videos, downloads and games), Total Registry Revitalizer (resolves registry problems) and more.

Usage

After installation and on the first run, you will see the introduction screen where you can click to view tutorials. To get started using System Mechanic, go to the main screen and click the “Analyze” button. You can also click the down arrow beside it to select between “Quick Analysis” or “Deep Analysis”. I would recommend running a deep analysis on the first run. After the analysis, you will be given a system status, for which you can choose to “Repair All” or view all the problems for your system. This is what you will see when you view the problems. Most of the problems will be dealing with the memory space, junk clutter and registry issue. To fix them all, simply click the “Repair All” button. In addition, System Mechanic also comes with recommendations for you to speed up your PC, some of which are removing unwanted startup programs, uninstalling unwanted applications, etc. On the left panel, under the ActiveCare section, you will find an “Automated Tasks” link. Click on it and you will find a list of items that System Mechanic automatically optimized for you. This includes automatically optimize startup configuration, optimize Internet configuration, optimize system drive, recover unused memory, repair core data conflicts, repair registry problems and more. All these optimizations are turned on automatically and they run continuously in the background to make sure your PC is free of problems. Similarly, the “Real-time Optimization” section lists the hardware optimization like balance CPU demand, maximize available RAM and optimize file organization. The Toolbox section is probably the most important section as it contains all the tools you need to optimize your computer. There is the PC TotalCare that can diagnose, repair, clean up and secure your PC with a single click. Alternatively, you can just run a single part of the TotalCare suite. If what you need is to boost a particular portion of the computer, for example, maximize the performance for gaming, you can access the “Individual Tools” section to select the individual tweak. Something like Energy Booster might play a part in improving your gaming performance. There is also an option for you to search for and install a new driver for your hardware.

Final Words

The good thing about System Mechanic is automation. Most of the stuff is automated so you can sit back and use your PC without any fuss. When in need, you can also run the individual tool to boost the performance of the system. System Mechanic is indeed a useful tool you should keep in your arsenal. System Mechanic
